Goodfish Made the List

Goodfish launched their new product line early this March and are already trending as a top “better-for-you snack” in the Los Angeles Times article: 18 healthy (but still delicious) snacks you can get delivered to your door. We partnered with Goodfish to develop a breakthrough, shelf-stable, sustainable snack utilizing protein-rich, wild-caught Alaskan salmon from Bristol Bay.

CCDI’s Product Development Manager, Betty Kaufman shares her insights: “It was an interesting project from the start because they wanted to identify the next big snack food utilizing sustainable salmon. We went on this big adventure trying to make unique, shelf-stable forms of salmon and then landed on fried skin. It was a fun project because the client always wanted to push the boundaries. Even when we landed on fried salmon skin, they wanted to push the flavor–that is how we landed on the Tart Berry flavor.”
