CCD Innovation is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager.
Job Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the internal and external process steps that lead to the smooth and efficient execution of complex CPG food and beverage innovation projects. The ideal candidate has experience working with C-level internal or external clients, is diplomatic in their communication, and can apply high-level strategic thinking to the details of projects.
This position is for you if you can manage multiple projects in parallel, have experience in the product innovation or commercialization space, and enjoy an environment where each project feels custom while following the same general guardrails.
Job Details
Leads the project management of 6-12, complex, multi-phased, client-facing innovation projects simultaneously
Manages all project resources, including contractors and vendors, to ensure efficiencies with timeline and deliverables
Provides strategic oversight and guidance to all assigned projects
Monitors critical tasks and milestones by leveraging project management tools
Ensures all projects are completed on time, on budget, and within scope
Communicates with cross-functional teams, including senior-level clients, internal partners, contractors, and vendors on a regularly scheduled cadence
Leads, organizes, and participates in meetings/sessions, including both on-site and off-site events
Prepares and presents meeting agendas and writes comprehensive, organized summary reports
Documents and follows up on key action items
Escalates critical project issues to Management when appropriate
Provides project updates daily on the all-hands check-in call
Identifies, develops, and maintains processes that reduce redundancy, improve accuracy and efficiency, and problem-solve to achieve organizational objectives
Works directly with Accounting to ensure project fees and expenses are paid on time and supports cash flow projection efforts

Requirements
2+ years of project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously (required)
5+ years of professional experience (required)
CPG innovation or commercialization experience (preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with internal or external C-level clients
Efficient time management and organizational skills
Tech-savvy
Familiar with project management software such as Asana
Full-time position
Position location – This position can be fully remote or on-site at the Emeryville, CA office
Ability to travel for the occasional client or project planning meeting (if remote)
